It includes 13 big, bold, bright and colourful toys to hang around the jumper and activities to help enhance your baby’s senses. This includes light from rollerball, music, sounds from the ocean, beads that rattle plus mirrors etc; all designed to keep your baby amused. Also has a padded seat which can hold the baby safely.

Initial thoughts are that the toys included are chunky and made of good plastic that is not harmful to the baby. The seat is padding which allows the baby to nestle in safely and comfortably. The poles holding the suspended jumper seat and the circular base of the jumper are made from metal and well secured, ensuring that it can support the weight of the baby. It does rattle at times at the connection points when the baby jumps

The important thing is that the jumperoo should only be used by a child who can hold his/her head up unassisted and who is not able to climb out of the seat.
The manufacturer recommends that the baby activity jumper be used by only babies aged 6 + months up to a maximum weight of 11 kg (25 lb) and a height of less than 30 inches (76.2cm), which is to all intent and purpose, the weight of an average 1 year old. Theme Concept & Colours
The choice of the colours of the Finding Nemo jumper and the character toys (including the turtle, seahorse, starfish, shark, puffer fish, etc) all based on the ocean are bright, bold, colourful and attractive, which is an advantage and would no doubt appeal greatly to the curiosity of babies of either gender and their parents.
The characters are good likenesses of the Disney originals, though perhaps a bit babified, but babies aren’t going to worry too much about this. We love the bubbles and the fact that Nemo stays upright when you spin it rather than looking like a dead fish.”

Blue Sting Ray Fish
Immediately noticeable is the big, blue and white, shining, attractive smiling “Sting Ray fish” character that a lot of people will identify with the Finding Nemo movie (called Mr Ray) prominently displayed on one of the 4 arms of the jumper.
Mr Ray is located some distance from the seat so your baby is most likely not going to be able to reach Mr Ray yet, at least at this stage; but hanging of Mr Ray, are 2 smaller attractive colourful batting toys, “Pearl, the Octopus” and “Tad, the fish” that your baby can possibly reach for and bat away. These two toys can also be removed easily for the baby to play with even when s/he is not in the jumper, which is great.
Seagull – Perched on one of the other 4 jumper arms is a Seagull character. The Seagull character is eye catching and of a good size that would attract the attention of the baby.
The downside is that although counted as one of the toys, the Seagull actually serves no other function but to just make the jumper aesthetically pleasing, as there is no chance of the baby ever being tall enough to be able to reach it. It would really have been good if the seagull character was actually accessible to the baby to touch, play with and/or with some sound or light function to it rather than it being just a décor .
Perched on the other 2 jumper arms are also 2 x sizeable bubbles. The babies cannot reach these either and I supposed they are just there to keep the jumper in character too. Again it would really have been better if the bubble characters were actually accessible to the baby to touch, play with and/or with some sound or light function to it, to keep the baby amused rather than it being just a décor .
Nemo – The main fish character is encased in a rollerball with coloured beads. It is one of the two toys on the jumper that needs batteries to work fully as it spins and lights up with underwater sounds. (It needs 3 of the AA-sized battery to work).
The baby can easily spin the Nemo Fish Rollerball and enjoy the rattling along with flashing lights and ocean sounds. This is no doubt a good toy as it helps inspire the baby’s senses with lights, sounds and the rattling beads. The nemo rollerball is also of a good size, intriguing and attractive and one that the baby can easily grab hold of.
Bruce – the colourful friendly shark character is a ratchet toy on a stand. It has a small rollerball in the mouth filled with coloured beads that the baby can easily spin too. The shape, colour and sounds it makes when pushed will be of interest to most babies. It also ratchets side to side as the baby touches it, which also serves to encourage the baby to feel, touch and play with it. This is another good toy for babies to interact with.
Squirt – the turtle character requires 3 x AA sized batteries. It is the main lighting and sound hub of the Finding Nemo jumper. It has a piano built right into his belly for extra fun consisting of 4 interactive coloured buttons, that once the baby presses, lights up and plays under water noises or playful musical tunes depending on the option selected by you. The baby soon learns to push to see lights and hear music.
The size, look, feel and the interactive actions of the turtle (Squirt) make it a main character on the Finding Nemo jumper. Your baby would love it!!
The good news is that the Turtle is also detachable and in some cases, some parents allow their babies to play with it even when not attached to the jumper as a source of entertainment.
Bloat – is the perky Pufferfish character. It works as a mirror for the baby on the jumper. This aids self discovery that babies really love and quite a common toy especially on interactive baby toys. It would have been good if it would rattle or make some sound too.
Peach – is the removeable starfish shaped teether – This is attached to the hole of the small starfish on the table. The teether inclusion makes good sense as a lot of babies do put everything in their mouth. You can also if you choose to, use the hole in the starfish to attach one of your babies very own favourite toys.
Dory – is a brightly coloured blue fish character on a stalk with 2 bead rings. It makes it easy for the baby to pull towards him/her self or bat away. It encourages the baby to grasp, touch and feel the contour edges of the fish. The two bead rings can be moved up and down along the stalk. The grabbing of the rings by your baby also helps develop dexterity in the fingers of the baby, which is great.
Sheldon – is the Seahorse Character – The baby can easily reach out to spin the seahorse round it’s arch.

All in all, this is a great first interactive toy for baby because of all the activities that encourage hand-eye coordination, sensory development, both fine and gross motor skills and teaches cause and effect.
It has toys that will help with hand eye coordination as well as teaching your baby how to interact with buttons to make some of the surrounding toys play tunes etc. There are enough flashing lights to keep the excitement there for your baby too without every part of it needing batteries.
The toys are all really cute however some of the toys (the 2x bubbles, seagull and Mr Ray) are located high up on the jumper arms and out of reach for the baby with no interactive action. These toys and just for looking at and not really for the baby to touch and play with. We think that it’s a bit cheeky including the two bubbles, seagull and Mr Ray in the number of toys as the baby can’t actually do anything except look at them.
Another issue is that of light and sound; Only the “Nemo” the fish and “Squirt” the turtle toy have any sort of sound or light attached to them. The manufacturer we feel should have made one or two more toys active with additional sound and lighting.
Jumper & Seat
The seat of this jumper is able to rotate through a full 360 degrees, enabling your baby to easily access to all the toys and activities on the surrounding activity table.
The seat also has a high back and is padded for extra support, which allows the child to nestle in safely and comfortably.
Although the seat itself gives an extra support to the neck of the baby, it would not be advisable to leave your baby unattended in the seat till your baby can hold their head up on their own for a good 10 minutes.
The seat cover is also removable and washable.
The Jumper
The Finding Nemo jumper is large in size, but is no larger than other floor standing baby jumpers on the market.
The jumper has 4 springy arms and it has slight give on the arm parts which is good as it also allows the jumper to go side to side as well as up and down. There are rubber stoppers on the bottom to make sure the jumper doesn’t slip and slide around on the floor.
Although the jumper itself is quite jumpy, the long thin arms and the side rocking gives the impression that it could easily topple over if the baby gives it a rough jump. It must be said, that there has been no report of the jumper toppling over in any of the reviews compiled.
Adjustable Comfort
The Disney Baby Finding Nemo Jumper has 4 different height adjustments that the baby can grow into and that you can adjust or adapt to suit your growing child. You pick the setting according to where your babys feet are.
The height of the seat for the Finding Nemo jumper is easy to adjust as the height adjusters are located on the top of the jumper pole arms in plain view and can even be adjusted when the baby is seated in the jumper.
I’m not sure if the Disney Finding Nemo height adjuster is the best design in terms of safety as it makes it a little too accessible to other children to adjust the jumper, compared to that of the FisherPrice Roaring Rainforest Jumperoo, which, can only be adjusted after the baby is removed from the jumper, as the height adjuster is located under the seat unit and has a bar lock.
Build Quality

It however does not appear to be as sturdy as that of the Fisher Price Roaring Rainforest Jumperoo as the circular base of the jumper and the metal poles holding the jumper springs appear slightly smaller than that of the Roaring Rainforest Jumperoo and does rattle at times at the connection points when the baby jumps.

Ease Of Assembly
With so many components, building the Finding Nemo Jumper initially looks like an unavoidably lengthy process, but thats far from the case.
The jumper is simple enough to set up; All you need is a screw driver and 6 x AA batteries (Batteries are sadly not included), and you are good to go.

My advice would be to set aside about 30 mins to an hour to unpack and put all the parts together. That’s not fantastically unreasonable given what’s going on, but it’s still an additional factor to think about when putting together something largely focused on supporting the strength and movement of your child.

It measures 34.6 inches (88cm) by 34.6 inches (88cm) when it is set up which does take up a substantial area of the floor space in whatever room you set it up in.
Whilst the Finding Nemo Jumper is a big toy, it is much easier to dismantle it to take away on a visit or holiday, than some competing Jumpers like the FisherPrice Roaring Rainforest Jumperoo. The toys are and the jumper arms are simply unclipped to detach without a need for a screwdriver.
However it is not quite practicable to have to dismantle and rebuild The Finding Nemo Jumper for everyday use at home, so If you are quite interested in this particular jumper, you are advised to consider carefully the room and the area of the room you want to physically place it before you go ahead and buy it.
Cleaning & Maintenance
In terms of maintaining and cleaning the Finding Nemo Jumper, thats quite easy to do. The seat cover is fabric, removeable and is machine washable .. so just machine washing the fabric seat in cold water will keep it clean. Remember to use only a gentle wash cycle with no bleach. You can tumble dry, using low heat.
Some of the add-on toy items have Velcro straps, and usefully these are removable for washing too.
The plastic parts on the other hand can be wiped clean with a damp cloth and mild soap. Air dry afterwards. The toys should on no occassion be immersed in water.
Storage
The Finding Nemo Jumper does not fold or close for storage, however The Finding Nemo jumper can be easily dismantled unlike some other jumpers to be stored away for future use. All you need to do is simply unclip all the toys and the 3 long arms. You would need a Philips screw to remove the batteries which is not advisable to be left in the compartment if you are going to permanently store the unit away.
